Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in doorstep trash collection and maintenance services for apartment communities across the United States. Renowned for its commitment to creating clean, safe, and comfortable living environments, Valet Living partners with multifamily housing communities to deliver exceptional customer service and environmental stewardship. The company emphasizes fostering a positive community atmosphere by ensuring residents’ trash and recycling needs are efficiently managed, thereby enhancing the aesthetic appeal and overall resident satisfaction within the communities it serves. Valet Living prides itself on innovation, using technology to streamline operations and empower its team with modern tools such as mobile apps for scheduling, tracking, and reporting. The company is an equal opportunity employer that thrives on diversity, inclusion, and professional development opportunities.
This part-time evening role as a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, is ideal for individuals seeking steady and flexible nighttime work close to home. As a Service Valet, you will be servicing one or more nearby apartment communities, ensuring the prompt collection of bagged trash and cardboard recycling placed at residents' doorsteps so that these materials are cleared by morning. This role requires no long-distance driving or off-site dumping; instead, it involves using your personal open-bed pickup truck or a trailer-equipped vehicle to collect and transport trash to on-site compactor facilities. Scheduled shifts are primarily Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, allowing you to balance work with daytime commitments such as a full-time job, school, or family responsibilities.
The job entails active physical work outdoors, including walking around properties, climbing stairs, and handling items up to 50 pounds. Utilizing Valet Living's mobile app, you will check in, document work progress, and take photos when necessary, ensuring transparency and accountability. This position is perfect for anyone who prefers hands-on work with minimal hassle, values staying active rather than sitting at a desk, and seeks supplemental or secondary income. Valet Living offers competitive pay at $19 per hour, fast payment options like DailyPay, and opportunities for career growth with internal promotions. There is a strong culture of safety with provision of gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment.
If you have your own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer, a valid driver's license, and insurance, along with a smartphone for app use and authorization to work in the U.S., Valet Living invites you to apply. This role provides a dependable income stream with local assignments, a fast hiring process, and a supportive environment. Whether you're looking to supplement your earnings or seeking a flexible second job, this position offers a rewarding way to serve your community while staying close to home.
