Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable company dedicated to providing essential services that maintain cleanliness, safety, and comfort within apartment communities. As a service provider specializing in doorstep trash collection, Valet Living works closely with residential complexes to ensure residents enjoy a hassle-free living environment. Their commitment to service quality and community well-being has established them as a trusted partner in property management. Valet Living operates primarily in the service industry, offering flexible, part-time employment opportunities that cater to individuals seeking supplemental income or a second job.
This role focuses on part-time evening work suited for individuals who prefer to work within their local area, eliminating the need for long-distance travel or off-site dumping. The employment is structured with consistent hours from Sunday to Thursday evenings, typically amounting to 10-12 hours per week. Valet Living offers a competitive pay rate of $20 per hour for truck drivers and $17 per hour for helpers, making this position attractive for those seeking reliable, steady pay. A notable feature is the use of technology, including a mobile app that helps employees check in, track their tasks, and document their work efficiently.
The position of Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, or Service Valet, involves the responsibility of collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and disposing of them in on-site compactors. This role is crucial in keeping apartment communities clean and safe, enhancing residents' satisfaction and overall living quality. Candidates must have their own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer to perform these tasks effectively. The job requires physical activity, such as walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.
Valet Living ensures a friendly and supportive working environment by providing necessary safety equipment like gloves and vests. Employees benefit from fast payment processes through DailyPay, enabling them to receive income quickly. Additional perks include the opportunity for career growth, with many area leader roles filled through internal promotions, and referral bonuses as incentives to expand their team. The company values diversity and inclusion, operating as an Equal Opportunity Employer that promotes fair treatment and respects all employees irrespective of their background.
Overall, this part-time evening role is ideal for individuals looking for supplemental earnings with the convenience of local work and predictable evening hours. It combines physical activity with a structured routine, supported by a company that emphasizes employee safety and growth opportunities. Valet Living’s approach to community service and employee engagement makes it a compelling choice for prospective Service Valets.
