Job Description
Valet Living is a renowned service-oriented company specializing in maintaining cleanliness and enhancing the living environments of apartment communities. The company’s mission centers on providing exceptional doorstep trash collection services that ensure apartment residents enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable community. With a commitment to steady work, convenient schedules, and a localized service approach, Valet Living has established itself as a trusted partner for property management companies and their residents. This role is primarily part-time in the evenings, offering the perfect opportunity for individuals seeking supplemental income through a reliable and steady job close to home.
The company is currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, who will be responsible for servicing one or more nearby apartment communities within a local area. This role eliminates the need for long-distance travel and off-site dumping, focusing instead on local, manageable responsibilities that keep the job straightforward and community-centered. Employees in this role use their own personal open-bed pickup trucks or vehicles with trailers to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps each service night, maintaining the community’s tidiness by ensuring the waste is removed by morning.
The position offers competitive hourly pay rates of $21 per hour for truck drivers and $19 per hour for helpers. It provides flexibility with typical shifts occurring Sunday through Thursday after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, usually totaling 10-15+ hours per week. This schedule is ideal for those balancing a second job, school, or family responsibilities. Additionally, employees benefit from fast pay through DailyPay, consistent hours that ensure steady income, and the convenience of working within a community near their residence.
Service Valets use a proprietary mobile app to check in, track their routes, and document trash pickup with photographs as necessary, streamlining operational transparency and oversight. The position requires physical activity, including walking, stair climbing, and outdoor work in various weather conditions, making it a physically engaging job for those who prefer active roles over desk-bound work. The company prioritizes employee safety, supplying gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment to protect workers while on duty.
Valet Living values career growth within its team, with many management or Area Leader positions filled through internal promotions. The company also rewards employees who refer others to join the team through referral bonuses, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented work culture. The role is suited for individuals aged 18 and over who have a valid driver's license, insurance, and a smartphone with a data plan for app usage. Eligible candidates must also be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
If you are looking for a steady, part-time evening role that offers reliable pay, the chance to stay active, work within your local community, and potential for career advancement, Valet Living’s Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist position represents an excellent opportunity. Apply today to join a company that embraces diversity, values its workforce, and offers meaningful work with flexibility and growth potential.
