Job Description

Valet Living is a service-oriented company dedicated to enhancing the living experience in apartment communities across the country. As a respected provider of doorstep trash collection and sanitation services, Valet Living focuses on creating clean, safe, and comfortable environments that residents appreciate. Established with a mission to support property managers and residents alike, the company has built a reputation for reliability, consistency, and community care. With a growing footprint in numerous neighborhoods, Valet Living offers job opportunities that are flexible, locally focused, and designed to meet the needs of people looking for part-time work in their communities. The company values diversity and inclusion and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating an environment where every team member can thrive and grow regardless of their background or personal characteristics.

This particular role, the part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist (also known as Service Valet), is crafted specifically for individuals seeking steady evening work with consistent hours, usually between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM through late evening, Sunday to Thursday. The position is ideal for those wanting supplemental income with no weekend commitments and minimal travel away from their local area. Employees will be serving one or more nearby apartment communities, collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps to maintain the cleanliness and safety of their homes during the evening hours. This part-time position offers approximately 10-15 or more hours per week with a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour for truck drivers and $16.00 per hour for helpers.

A unique aspect of the job is that operators must provide their own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer to transport the collected refuse to on-site compactors, eliminating the need for long-distance travel or off-site dumping. This allows the role to remain local and efficient. Service Valets will be actively walking the properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors regardless of weather conditions. They will also utilize a mobile app to check in, log their work, and capture photographic evidence if necessary, making it a tech-friendly job.

Valet Living ensures the safety and comfort of its team with provided gloves, safety vests, and relevant equipment. The company emphasizes a healthy work lifestyle by promoting physical activity through job duties that keep you moving rather than seated at a desk. For people looking for a second job or flexible evening hours close to home without sacrificing steady pay and fast payouts via DailyPay, this position presents an excellent opportunity. Moreover, there is potential for career growth highlighted by internal promotions, especially with half of the Area Leader positions being filled by individuals already on the team. Referral bonuses are offered too, incentivizing team growth through friends and social networks.

Valet Living is committed to creating welcoming, inclusive environments and is proud to recruit, train, and promote team members with fairness and respect. This role suits responsible self-starters who are authorized to work in the U.S., have a valid driver’s license and insurance, and a smartphone with a data plan. The physical aspects of the job require a willingness to lift up to 50 pounds, walk extensively, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. If you want to be part of a supportive company that values your commitment and provides opportunities for supplemental income with a meaningful community focus, Valet Living invites you to apply and join their dedicated team of Service Valets.
