Job Description
Valet Living is a premier service company specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection for apartment communities. The company is dedicated to enhancing the living experience for residents by maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable environments. With a focus on reliability, professionalism, and community engagement, Valet Living has established itself as a trusted partner for property managers and homeowners alike. The company operates with a commitment to sustainability by promoting recycling and responsible waste management practices in all communities it serves.
Valet Living is currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to work evening shifts close to their homes. This role is perfect for individuals seeking consistent, local work with steady hours in the evenings—typically from Sunday to Thursday starting between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. The job involves servicing one or more nearby apartment communities using the employee's personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps. This ensures that all waste is removed efficiently and is gone by morning without the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping.
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $18.00 for truck operators and $15.00 for helpers. The role is designed for flexibility, allowing employees to work approximately 10-15 hours per week with no weekend requirements, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking for a second job, supplemental income, or a schedule that fits around other commitments such as school or family. The company provides a fast hiring process, a user-friendly mobile app for work tracking and communication, and safety equipment including gloves and safety vests.
In addition to competitive pay, the role offers benefits like steady and reliable hours, DailyPay for fast access to earned income, and the opportunity for career growth within the organization, as many Area Leader positions are filled by internal promotion. Valet Living emphasizes a safe working environment, providing all necessary safety equipment and encouraging communication and teamwork. Employees also appreciate the physical activity involved in the job, which keeps them moving rather than sitting at a desk. Referral bonuses ranging from $125 to $500 are available for bringing friends to the team, further enhancing the earning opportunity.
Overall, this role is ideal for motivated, independent workers who have a passion for service and are able to manage their routes efficiently using technology. It combines the benefits of local work, steady pay, and flexible scheduling to meet the needs of a diverse workforce. Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming workplace for all employees regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected statuses.
