Job Description

Valet Living is a leading provider of doorstep trash and recycling collection services dedicated to enhancing the cleanliness and comfort of apartment communities across the United States. Specializing in resident-focused waste management solutions, Valet Living plays a crucial role in managing residential waste efficiently and sustainably. The company emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service, creating pleasant living environments and contributing positively to community health. With a commitment to employee growth and diversity, Valet Living fosters an inclusive workplace that values each team member’s contributions and offers opportunities for advancement.

Currently, Valet Living is seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to serve apartment communities locally during evening hours. This role offers the advantage of steady, consistent shifts primarily Sunday through Thursday, starting between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM with no weekend work. Ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income or a second job with predictable, flexible evening hours, this position involves minimal travel, no off-site dumping, and no handling of bulk items. Employees remain local, servicing one or more nearby apartment communities within the same area with no long-distance driving required.

As a Service Valet, you are entrusted with the important task of collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps and transporting these materials to the on-site compactor. This role requires the use of your personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer, making residency proximity and vehicle ownership essential qualifications. The job offers physical activity, including walking the property extensively, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. It is a role well-suited to energetic individuals who prefer staying active to sitting at a desk.

Valet Living also emphasizes safety by providing gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment, ensuring employees can work comfortably and securely. The company supports technological efficiency through a mobile app that allows employees to easily check in, track progress, and capture photos when necessary. The pay rate for this position is $19 per hour, with opportunities for daily pay through the DailyPay system, providing financial flexibility and quick access to earnings.

Employees benefit from a fast and easy hiring process, allowing new hires to start swiftly. The company promotes internal growth, with half of its area leaders promoted from within, illustrating strong career development opportunities. Additionally, referral bonuses ranging from $125 to $500 incentivize current employees to bring friends onto the team.

Overall, this part-time, local, evening position is perfect for individuals seeking consistent work close to home, flexible scheduling that accommodates other commitments, and the satisfaction of keeping apartment communities clean and safe. Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing diversity and inclusion, and ensuring a supportive environment for all employees regardless of race, gender, age, or other protected statuses.
