Job Description

Valet Living is a leading residential services provider dedicated to enhancing the living experience in apartment communities across the United States. Specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection, Valet Living helps maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environments for residents by offering convenient and reliable waste management solutions. Established with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, sustainability, and operational excellence, the company has grown to become a trusted partner for property managers and residents alike. Valet Living’s services not only improve the aesthetics of apartment complexes but also contribute significantly to health and environmental standards by efficiently managing waste collection and recycling efforts on-site.

The role of Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, commonly referred to as Service Valet, is a part-time evening position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to earn supplemental income close to home. This job is ideal for individuals seeking steady, consistent work with a fixed schedule that complements their existing commitments such as another job, school, or family obligations. As a Service Valet, you will be assigned one or more apartment communities in your local area to service each evening without the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping. The role requires the use of your own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer, emphasizing the importance of personal transportation in the efficient performance of job duties.

Your core responsibility involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from the doorsteps of residents and transporting it to the on-site compactor. The job requires physical activity including walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors, which makes it a great option for those who prefer staying active during their work hours. Utilizing Valet Living’s user-friendly mobile app, you will check in, track your progress, and document your work with photos if necessary. The work hours are typically scheduled after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, offering a reliable evening income with no weekend work. With a competitive pay rate of $19 per hour and benefits like fast payment through DailyPay, steady work schedules, and local assignments, this role provides a practical way to earn extra income without the challenges of long commutes or complex logistics.

Valet Living encourages a safe working environment by providing the necessary safety equipment such as gloves and vests. The company values diversity and inclusion in the workplace, ensuring equal employment opportunities for all qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, age, or any other protected characteristic. This position not only promotes work-life balance through flexible scheduling but also offers potential career growth opportunities, as many supervisory roles within the company are filled through internal promotions. Referral bonuses are also available to reward employees who bring new team members. If you are someone who enjoys working independently with a consistent routine, values steady pay, and appreciates the chance to serve your local community by keeping apartment complexes clean and comfortable, this part-time role with Valet Living is an excellent fit.
