Job Description
Valet Living is a well-established service company specializing in doorstep trash collection designed to maintain cleanliness and safety in apartment communities. The company focuses on providing convenient, efficient service by employing part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, who work primarily in the evenings. This role offers a unique opportunity to those seeking steady, part-time evening work close to home without the need for long-distance travel or off-site dumping. Valet Living emphasizes community engagement, safety, and reliability to ensure that residents experience tidy and comfortable living environments.
The position is ideally suited for individuals looking for supplementary income alongside other commitments such as a full-time job, education, or family responsibilities. It combines the advantages of physical activity with practical work using a personal vehicle – specifically, an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer – facilitating the collection of bagged trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps. Service Valets typically work 10 to 15 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday, beginning after 7:00 or 8:00 PM. The pay rate is competitive at $18.00 per hour for those with a truck and $16.00 per hour for helpers, with fast payments processed through DailyPay.
Employees rely on a mobile app to track their shifts, check in, and document their work with photos, maintaining a streamlined and transparent process. Physical activity is inherent to the role, including walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, making it ideal for those who prefer an active job over a sedentary desk role. The company prioritizes safety by providing necessary protective gear such as gloves and safety vests, ensuring employees work in a safe environment.
This position offers local assignments, eliminating the burden of long-distance travel and providing the convenience of working near home. Valet Living supports career growth, with half of their Area Leader positions filled through internal promotions, suggesting room for advancement and professional development within the company. Additionally, referral bonuses ranging from $125 to $500 motivate team members to expand the workforce by bringing friends on board.
Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion, welcoming applicants regardless of race, religion, gender identity, age, disability, or veteran status. By joining Valet Living as a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, individuals become part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing community living standards through reliable and friendly service. This role is exceptional for anyone seeking flexible, part-time evening hours with a straightforward routine and the opportunity to earn extra income while staying local and active.
