Job Description

Valet Living is a leading provider of doorstep trash and recycling services dedicated to keeping apartment communities clean, safe, and comfortable for residents. The company specializes in providing reliable and efficient service that enhances the living experience by managing waste removal directly from residents' doorsteps, simplifying their life while maintaining community cleanliness. With a strong commitment to customer service and the environment, Valet Living operates with the goal of delivering consistent, high-quality service that benefits both property managers and residents alike. Recognized for its community-focused approach and innovative mobile app technology, Valet Living offers employees a rewarding work environment that supports growth and stability.

The role being offered is for part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, who will work evening hours at local apartment communities. This position is ideal for individuals seeking steady, consistent part-time work with hours typically scheduled Sunday through Thursday starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM. The job involves no weekend shifts, long-distance travel, or off-site dumping, making it highly convenient and manageable around other personal or professional commitments. Employees are assigned to service one or more apartment communities in close proximity to their home to minimize driving and maximize work-life balance.

Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists have the critical responsibility of collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents’ doorsteps and disposing of it at on-site compactors by the morning. This task is vital to maintaining community cleanliness and ensuring residents enjoy a safe and tidy environment. Workers will remain physically active throughout their shifts by walking properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The use of Valet Living’s proprietary mobile app to check in, track progress, and document completed work ensures efficient communication and accountability.

This opportunity is well-suited for people looking for supplemental income or a second job. The pay rate is competitive, offering $13 per hour for helpers and $15 per hour for those with truck responsibilities. Employees benefit from steady pay, consistent hours, and the option of fast daily pay through DailyPay. The company promotes a positive working atmosphere, offering career advancement opportunities, with 50% of area leader positions filled by internal promotions. Additionally, referral bonuses are available for employees who encourage friends to join the team. Valet Living emphasizes safety by providing gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment for all employees.
