Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable company specializing in doorstep trash collection services, dedicated to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and comfort within apartment communities. Established with a mission to provide waste management solutions that are convenient, reliable, and environmentally conscious, Valet Living has become a trusted partner for residential complexes seeking to enhance their living environments. As a service-oriented organization, the company values efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainability. Valet Living primarily operates within local neighborhoods, ensuring minimal environmental impact and fostering strong community relationships. They focus on service roles that promote active engagement and independence, offering opportunities that fit well with various lifestyles and schedules.

We are currently seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, who will play a vital role in supporting this mission. This role is designed for individuals looking for steady evening hours and consistent work close to home, with no long-distance driving or off-site dumping involved. The position requires the use of a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer to facilitate the collection of trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps. This job is ideal for candidates seeking supplemental income or a second job, providing a flexible schedule typically comprising 10 to 15 hours per week, mainly during weekend evenings starting after 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

As a Service Valet, you will be responsible for servicing one or more nearby apartment communities in your local area, maintaining these properties by collecting bagged trash and recycling materials directly from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to on-site compactors. The role emphasizes autonomy, physical activity, and customer service, as you will walk the properties, climb stairs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions while utilizing a mobile app to track your work, check in, and submit photos when required.

The position offers competitive hourly pay, with helper pay starting at $14 per hour and truck pay at $17 per hour, alongside benefits such as consistent scheduling, daily pay options through DailyPay, and the opportunity to be hired quickly through a streamlined process. Valet Living fosters a culture of safety by providing essential equipment like gloves and safety vests. Candidates must meet basic eligibility requirements including being at least 18 years old, holding a valid driver’s license and insurance, possessing a smartphone with data access, and being authorized to work in the United States.

This role not only offers a chance for extra income but also promotes a healthy and active lifestyle by encouraging movement and outdoor work rather than sedentary desk jobs. Additionally, there is potential for career growth within the organization, with many area leader positions filled by internal promotions, enhancing the opportunity for long-term employment. Valet Living values diversity and equality, creating an inclusive work environment free from discrimination based on a broad range of protected characteristics. If you desire reliable part-time work with meaningful impact in your local community, consider joining Valet Living as a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist.
