Job Description

Valet Living is a premier service provider specializing in doorstep trash collection and waste management services primarily catering to apartment communities. Focused on delivering exceptional service that enhances the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of residential neighborhoods, Valet Living operates with a commitment to sustainable practices, community engagement, and employee satisfaction. The company is known for its innovative approach of providing localized, convenient, and efficient waste removal solutions that do not require long-distance travel or off-site dumping, setting a new standard in residential community waste management.

Valet Living is currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to join their team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a consistent evening job that fits well around other commitments such as a full-time job, school, or family responsibilities. It is particularly suited for candidates who want to work close to home without the hassle of long commutes or heavy bulk waste handling. This role involves servicing one or more nearby apartment communities using your own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer, emphasizing the importance of local engagement and reliable service delivery.

The primary responsibility of the Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist is to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps and transport it to the community’s on-site compactor. This process ensures that trash is efficiently removed by the morning, keeping the environment clean and pleasant for all residents. The position is designed to keep employees active, requiring them to walk the property, climb stairs, and spend time working outdoors. The job avoids long trips or off-site dumping, which means less downtime and more focused work within a manageable local area.

Employees use a mobile app to check in, track their work, and document collections with photos, making the workflow streamlined and tech-friendly. The pay rates are competitive, offering $14 per hour for helper roles and $17 per hour for those who provide their own truck, ensuring solid compensation for part-time evening work. Shifts typically run from Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7:00-8:00 PM, providing consistent and steady income with no weekend obligations.

In addition to financial benefits, Valet Living promotes a safety-first culture providing gloves, safety vests, and all necessary equipment. The company values internal career growth, with a notable percentage of leadership positions filled by promoting current employees. Moreover, employees can benefit from referral bonuses ranging between $125 and $500, encouraging team growth through personal networks. This role is ideal for individuals who prefer a physically active job that is flexible, dependable, and community-oriented. If you have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, a smartphone with data, and are authorized to work in the U.S., Valet Living encourages you to apply and join a dedicated, diverse workforce with fast hiring and daily pay options for a rewarding part-time evening career.
