Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable company committed to providing essential services that improve the living conditions within apartment communities. As a dedicated service provider, Valet Living focuses on creating clean, safe, and comfortable environments for residents by offering doorstep trash collection services. Founded with a mission to enhance community living, Valet Living partners with apartment complexes across various locations to ensure residents enjoy a hassle-free waste removal experience. The company’s approach emphasizes local service, reliability, and respect for residents’ convenience, making it a trusted name in residential services.

Valet Living is currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, for evening shifts. This role is perfect for individuals seeking steady, predictable hours in their local area without the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping. Candidates must have their own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer, as the job requires transporting collected trash and cardboard recycling to an on-site compactor. The part-time evening position offers promising benefits including competitive hourly pay, consistent work lasting typically 10 to 15 hours per week, and the convenience of no weekend shifts.

As a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing one or more nearby apartment communities, collecting bagged trash and cardboard directly from residents’ doorsteps to ensure it is removed by morning. This role involves physical activity including walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The job also requires using a mobile app for checking in, tracking work progress, and taking photos when necessary, facilitating efficient communication and reporting.

There are two pay scales for this position: $14 per hour for helpers and $17 per hour for those using their own trucks. This provides an excellent chance for supplemental income, making it ideal as a second job or for those seeking extra earnings. The company values safety and support by providing gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment. Employees benefit from a quick hiring process, daily pay options, and the opportunity to work close to home. Additionally, Valet Living offers referral bonuses as an incentive for bringing friends to the team, reinforcing a community-oriented work culture.

This job appeals especially to those who want to remain active during their working hours, as it allows one to stay physically engaged rather than seated at a desk. The flexible night schedule is adaptable for individuals balancing other commitments such as full-time employment, schooling, or family responsibilities. Career growth opportunities are present, with half of the company’s Area Leader positions filled through internal promotions, reflecting the potential for advancement within the organization.

Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming diversity and promoting an inclusive workplace where employees are valued regardless of race, religion, gender, age, or other protected characteristics. This part-time role not only offers a meaningful way to contribute to community well-being but also provides stable, reliable earnings and professional growth in a supportive environment.
