The current opening is for a key member of the Food and Beverage team at La Posada de Santa Fe. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in a fast-paced hospitality setting. The Food and Beverage team member will play a crucial role in upholding the resort’s commitment to excellence by ensuring all dishware, glassware, and silverware meet stringent hygiene standards. Responsibilities include operating commercial dish machines, maintaining cleanliness in the dish room and kitchen areas, handling waste disposal, and supporting the team to sustain an efficient, sanitary environment that contributes to customer satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage sanitation or related role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in working with commercial dish machines and cleaners
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure cleanliness of all dishes, glassware and silverware
  • Enjoy working with a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and dock area
  • Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dish ware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures
  • Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside
  • Thoroughly clean dock area
  • Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside
  • Clean all breakdown tables
  • Clean tile on kitchen walls and baseboards
