Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of high-volume serving experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or club environment
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs
- Willing to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- U.S. work authorization is required

- knowledge of NorthStar POS preferred or is a plus

- ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests

Job Duties
- Describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel's point-of-sales system
- check completed orders with guest's original order
- Coordinate food timings
- Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Properly and accurately close members checks
- properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
