Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of cooking experience in a similar role
- Managers Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to work morning and evening shifts
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Manual dexterity to use all kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Completion of culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
- Minimum of 1 year cook experience in hotel preferred
- Minimum of 1 year cook experience in a similar role, size of operation required
- Managers food handlers certification required
Job Duties
- Craft dishes according to standard recipes or guest specifications
- Ensure meticulous product storage and precise portion control for each dish
- Minimize spoilage and waste through effective product rotation
- Monitor food, produce, and cooking supply levels to facilitate timely reordering
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and functionality of refrigeration, storage, and work areas
- Work both morning and evening shifts
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations
