Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of cooking experience in a similar role
  • Managers Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to work morning and evening shifts
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Manual dexterity to use all kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Completion of culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year cook experience in hotel preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year cook experience in a similar role, size of operation required
  • Managers food handlers certification required

Job Duties

  • Craft dishes according to standard recipes or guest specifications
  • Ensure meticulous product storage and precise portion control for each dish
  • Minimize spoilage and waste through effective product rotation
  • Monitor food, produce, and cooking supply levels to facilitate timely reordering
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and functionality of refrigeration, storage, and work areas
  • Work both morning and evening shifts
  • Adhere to all food safety and health regulations
