Job Description

Our establishment is a welcoming community dining setting focused on providing homestyle dinners to local residents. We pride ourselves on delivering delicious, comforting meals in a supportive and low-stress environment. The dining experience centers around dinner service for approximately 40 to 50 residents, emphasizing quality and warmth in every dish served. This kitchen operates with a close-knit team, where each member’s contribution is vital to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. We understand the importance of reliability, friendliness, and culinary skill in creating an inviting atmosphere for our residents.

We are currently offering a part-time Cook position with 8-hour shifts focused exclusively on dinner preparation. This role places you as the sole cook on duty during your shifts, giving you full responsibility for a full meal service including entrées, sides, and desserts. You will manage every step of the cooking process—from planning the meal timing and preparation to plating and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and values the satisfaction of feeding a community of appreciative diners. With no early mornings or late nights, this role suits candidates seeking a reliable and steady work schedule in a friendly setting. If you have experience cooking solo in a professional kitchen, know how to prepare meals in quantity, and prioritize food safety and cleanliness, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a team dedicated to culinary excellence and community care.
