Currently, our community is seeking to add a Concierge to our dedicated team. The Concierge role is integral to our community's atmosphere as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff. The individual in this position will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, handling both external and internal telephone communications efficiently, and taking clear, accurate messages to ensure seamless communication across various departments. The Concierge is also expected to provide courteous assistance by answering inquiries, offering directions, and sharing general information to support residents and visitors. Additional responsibilities include managing appointment schedules for residents and their families, preparing meal tickets, maintaining and updating essential logs and resident contact lists, organizing mail distribution, and ensuring the reception area remains neat and organized. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who can multitask effectively while upholding the company’s personnel policies and operational procedures. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to three years customer service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer proficiency
- Comfortable managing phone systems and schedules
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- One to three years customer service experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Duties
- Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
- Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
- Greets residents and visitors
- Answers inquiries and gives directions
- Collates brochures for the marketing department
- Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members
- Tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff
- Updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily
- Maintains Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary
- Manages appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
- Organizes and distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
- Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
- Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
