Job Description

Fogelman is a nationally recognized, fully integrated multifamily real estate company with a rich history spanning six decades of expertise. The company specializes in investing in and managing apartment communities across the United States. Known for fostering a collaborative culture, Fogelman has earned prestigious accolades, including being named one of the 2025 Best Places to Work in Multifamily and listed among Newsweek's Top 100 Most Loved Companies. This recognition highlights the company’s commitment to creating welcoming communities where residents can thrive while building lasting value for partners, investors, and associates alike.

At the core of Fogelman's success is its dynamic associates and expert leadership team, driving innovation and excellence in property management. The company values teamwork, experience, and expertise, which reflects in every aspect of its operations. Fogelman aims to deliver exceptional service, maintain vibrant communities, and create environments that residents are proud to call home.

We are currently hiring a part-time Concierge for Thornwood Apartments in Germantown. This role serves as the first point of contact for residents and visitors, playing a pivotal role in shaping their experience within the community. The Concierge position is vital to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere for which Fogelman is known. Responsibilities include managing the front desk, greeting residents and guests with professionalism and warmth, monitoring security systems, and providing exemplary customer service throughout the tenure.

The position is scheduled for 3 weeknights from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and weekends from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering a flexible part-time schedule. Fogelman invests in its associates by offering competitive biweekly pay, including $125 leasing commissions and split monthly renewal commissions. Additional perks include a monthly cell phone allowance, quarterly shopping report bonuses, and a housing discount that supports associates in their own living arrangements.

Health and wellness are a priority at Fogelman, providing associates with comprehensive benefits such as BCBS health, dental, vision, and disability/life insurance plans. The company also offers a matching 401K program to help employees prepare for their future. Career growth is encouraged through ongoing training, career development programs, and tuition reimbursement opportunities, making it possible for associates to advance within the organization.

Recognition programs like Awardco, associate appreciations, and various incentives foster a positive work environment that values contributions and dedication. There is also a $500 referral bonus for associates who bring talented individuals into the team, and Employee Connect provides valuable resources for legal, financial, and personal support.

This Concierge role requires motivated and enthusiastic individuals who can work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Successful candidates should demonstrate superior communication skills and be capable of managing the front desk operations efficiently. The role emphasizes safety and security, requiring the Concierge to diligently monitor surveillance cameras, control access to the property, and coordinate with police departments if necessary.

Joining Fogelman means becoming part of a drug-free workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer. Employment offers are contingent upon passing the pre-employment process including background checks, drug testing, and reference verification. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about customer service and community engagement to grow their career within a respected and nationally recognized real estate company.
