Job Description

Emerald City Catering is a community-driven catering company based on the south side of Milwaukee, committed to delivering exceptional service with positivity and genuine care. Our team believes in abundance and the power of doing good for others, fostering a work environment where kindness and community spirit thrive. We specialize in catering a wide variety of events such as weddings, quinceaneras, memorial lunches, parties, and showers, offering both onsite and offsite catering services. Our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction forms the core of our ethos, and we are proud to be part of many significant moments in our customers' lives.

We are currently seeking motivated and friendly team members to join us for our busy wedding season from May to November. This role primarily involves working on weekends and requires a flexible, can-do attitude to adapt to the unpredictable nature of event catering. The position is perfect for individuals who enjoy being around people celebrating important milestones and have a passion for ensuring guests feel welcomed and well cared for. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to think on your feet are essential qualities for success in this fast-paced and rewarding environment.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the preparation, setup, and teardown of events, providing attentive guest services including serving food, replenishing buffets, and clearing plates. You will be instrumental in maintaining the event space's cleanliness and order, as well as assisting with logistics such as loading and unloading trucks for offsite events. Teamwork is highly valued at Emerald City Catering, where we often carpool to event locations within an hour's drive and foster a supportive atmosphere that balances hard work with fun. We offer paid mileage and driving time, free food during shifts, and paid training to ensure every team member is confident and comfortable in their role.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and are proud to encourage people with a criminal record to apply. Bilingual candidates, especially those who speak Spanish, are highly encouraged to join our team, enhancing our ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of guests. If you are passionate about hospitality and ready to contribute to meaningful celebrations, Emerald City Catering is eager to hear from you. The hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $20.00, reflecting experience and commitment. This is an in-person role based primarily in Milwaukee with travel required to various event venues. If you are ready to be part of a team that values positivity, service, and community, apply by sending your resume to [email protected].
