Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of sixteen years
  • ability to remain standing for long periods
  • ability to move throughout the store
  • ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
  • eligibility to satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment in the U.S.
  • willingness to work in a public retail store setting that may include climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas
  • ability to perform outdoor tasks if assigned
  • must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • basic cash handling skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Duties

  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
  • provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • execute cash handling to standards
  • engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
  • perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance
  • execute Company policies and standards
  • interact respectfully and promote organizational values
  • cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • other duties as assigned
