Job Requirements

Associates must be at least 16 years of age
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
Willingness to complete company-required training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge
Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and smell regularly
Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Close vision and depth perception
Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment potentially exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold

Job Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
Ability to write simple correspondence in English
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer’s needs
Exceed customer expectations and make every shopping visit pleasant and satisfying
Follow correct bagging procedures
Provide carryout and parcel pickup service
Load merchandise into customer vehicles
Return shopping carts into the store
Participate in and complete required training programs
