Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach from 6-72 inches
- Must demonstrate punctuality and dependability
- Ability to adhere to company grooming and dress policies
- Willingness to complete all mandatory training programs
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Must comply with all safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Ability to perform basic math operations using money and weight units
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion of required company training including food safety and customer service
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and multitask
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods standards
- Provide professional and courteous customer service consistently
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and store
- Unload stock and reload salvage products following Fresh Foods standards
- Operate equipment to prepare and portion products
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in inventory and price changes
- Communicate effectively in English with customers and team members
- Ensure proper refrigeration and merchandising of products
