Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
willingness to participate in and complete required training
ability to stand and walk regularly
capability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
ability to reach, handle, talk, hear, taste, and smell
reliable and punctual with good attendance
ability to maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
effective communication skills in English
comply with company policies and safety regulations
ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
one to three months related experience or training
ability to read and write simple correspondence in English
effective one-on-one and small group communication skills
basic math skills including addition and subtraction
ability to follow written and oral instructions
completion of company training including food sanitation and safety
exceptional interpersonal skills
ability to operate necessary equipment
strong teamwork and customer service orientation

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
provide friendly and prompt customer service
clean work areas and maintain sanitation standards
unload stock and manage salvage products as required
bake, decorate, and prepare bakery items following recipes and company standards
communicate effectively with customers and associates regarding requests and promotions
