Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
Ability to speak and understand English
Willingness to complete required training
Ability to work in a moderate to noisy environment
Reliable and punctual with good attendance
Ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations
Willingness to work flexible hours
Ability to communicate courteously with customers and associates
Able to perform multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
One to three months related experience or training
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
Basic math skills with American money and weight measurement
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation policies
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities
Completion of company training including food sanitation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods standards
Provide customer service on sales floor and counter
Clean work areas, prep rooms, coolers, and maintain sanitation standards
Unload stock and reload salvage products
Bake, fry, broil, roast, and decorate bakery and meat products as per recipes and customer specifications
Communicate with customers and associates regarding requests, promotions, and product locations
Follow food safety and sanitation policies
Stock and block products to maximize sales and minimize shrink
Maintain merchandising displays and prepare daily samples
Assist in inventory, price changes, and store cleanliness
Follow safety regulations and report hazards
Support fellow associates and promote a respectful working environment
