Job Requirements
- Be 21 years of age
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience is required
- High school diploma or GED
- Food handling certification, or willingness to obtain one
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional/creative cocktails and beers
- Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operation and service procedures
- Member service focus
- Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes
- Possess basic math skills and be able to handle money and operate a cash register
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
- Honesty and integrity
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience

- Strong knowledge of restaurant operation and service procedures

- Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes
- Basic software knowledge in MS Word, Excel, point of sale, and reservation systems
Job Duties
- Prepare for a shift by completing tasks such as prepping liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, back bar, etc
- Greet each member by name, know their favorite drinks, make recommendations
- Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages
- Market the food and beverage operation to ensure financial success
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails and pour beers properly
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits, and process payments accurately
- Taking and preparing to go orders, and ensuring they are complete
- Maintain thorough cleanliness and sanitation of work area
- complete other cleaning as assigned
- Complete breakdown of bar area including cleaning of all equipment
- Assist in new employee training including demonstrating service procedures and policies and introducing menus
- Attend mandatory company and/or departmental meetings and trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Adhere to policies and procedures set by the company and Health Department
