Ability to work part-time evening shifts
knowledge of state and county ABC laws
ability to handle cash responsibly
physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED desired
previous related experience in food and beverage service or bartending preferred
comfort with computerized environments
ability to read, write, and perform basic math
excellent communication skills
ability to work with culinary and service team members
calm and organized under pressure
ability to follow directions accurately

Job Duties

Complete and stay current on all mandated training and certifications
follow hotel procedures for documenting alcohol-related incidents
ensure sanitary conditions of bar, stations, utensils, equipment, and perishable foods
set up bar and reception station according to brand standards
demonstrate hospitality and professionalism
handle cash and payment receipts accurately
know beverage menus, portions, recipes, glassware, and garnishes
order, pick up, and serve food as ordered
be attentive and responsive to guests
store equipment, food, and beverages properly
maintain uniform and appearance
work flexible shifts
report safety concerns
complete pre- and post-shift tasks
