Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED desired
  • previous related experience in food and beverage service or bartending preferred

  • ability to follow directions accurately

Job Duties

  • Complete and stay current on all mandated training and certifications
  • follow hotel procedures for documenting alcohol-related incidents
  • ensure sanitary conditions of bar, stations, utensils, equipment, and perishable foods
  • set up bar and reception station according to brand standards
  • demonstrate hospitality and professionalism
  • handle cash and payment receipts accurately
  • know beverage menus, portions, recipes, glassware, and garnishes
  • order, pick up, and serve food as ordered
  • be attentive and responsive to guests
  • store equipment, food, and beverages properly
  • maintain uniform and appearance
  • work flexible shifts
  • report safety concerns
  • complete pre- and post-shift tasks
