Job Description
W Bellevue is a prominent luxury hotel located in Bellevue, Washington, part of the renowned W Hotels portfolio under Marriott International. W Hotels are globally recognized for their innovative approach to hospitality, constantly redefining luxury standards with a focus on curiosity, creativity, and unique guest experiences. Situated conveniently in a vibrant urban location, W Bellevue offers a dynamic environment where guests can enjoy stylish accommodations, exceptional dining, and vibrant social venues in a setting that balances modern luxury with a lively cultural atmosphere.
W Bellevue is currently seeking talented bartenders to join their Food and Beverage team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about crafting memorable beverage experiences while embodying the W Hotels spirit of originality and innovation. The position offers an hourly wage of $17.13 and is tip eligible, providing an opportunity to earn competitive compensation. The hotel values open and weekend availability, aiming to provide flexible scheduling while maintaining excellent service standards.
The bartender role at W Bellevue extends beyond simply mixing drinks; it is about creating a unique and memorable experience for each guest who visits the bar. Bartenders are expected to be more than beverage experts—they serve as hosts, engaging guests with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality. They actively seek out new trends and local offerings to enhance the drink selection and tailor services to guests' evolving tastes. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, from managing financial transactions accurately to ensuring every drink meets quality standards, contributing to the flawless operation and aesthetic of the bar area.
Additionally, bartenders take ownership of guest service beyond the bar, collaborating with other hotel departments and fostering community connections to anticipate and respond to guest needs. The role is physically demanding, requiring individuals to be on their feet for extended periods and to perform hands-on tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving moderate weights. Safety, professionalism, and adherence to company policies are critical attributes for success in this role.
W Bellevue prides itself on being an inclusive employer that values diversity and opportunity. As part of Marriott International, the hotel offers a supportive working environment that encourages growth and development. Employees benefit from a range of programs including 401(k) plans, stock purchase options, employee discounts, commuter benefits, childcare discounts, and more. For full-time team members, there are additional benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave, and educational assistance.
Joining W Bellevue means becoming part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to creating extraordinary guest experiences while offering employees a chance to grow, belong, and thrive in a vibrant hospitality environment where curiosity and boldness are celebrated.
