Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent education preferred
- prior experience in retail, customer service, or food and beverage operation preferred
- experience in Starwood or similar branded full-service hotels preferred
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- excellent customer service orientation
- ability to work as part of a team
- reliable and punctual
- good physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of coffee preparation and customer service techniques
- good problem-solving skills and ability to respond to guest concerns professionally.
Job Duties
- Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu
- answers questions
- prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques such as espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino
- maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply, stocking coffee brewing equipment
- maintains supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar
- maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, implementing changes, maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar
- works cooperatively and friendly with fellow employees, sets a positive example
- provides the highest level of guest service
- maintains professional attire and personal hygiene
- keeps a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- reads, understands, and follows all employee handbook policies, procedures, and practices
- implements the hotel safety and emergency policies and procedures including evacuation and first aid
- promptly reports substandard or unsafe conditions
- reports accidents, injuries, property damage or loss promptly
- informs management of work-related problems or guest complaints
- promotes the hotel through goodwill, courtesy, and a positive attitude
- attends all scheduled training classes and meetings
- continues to learn and grow in position
- performs reasonable requests as assigned by management
- provides a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
- assists persons with disabilities
- complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
- adapts to varying work schedules based on business needs.
