This part-time position at Starbucks involves a range of operational and customer service responsibilities designed to maintain the high standards the brand is known for. The role is centered on preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products with strict adherence to Starbucks Standards. Additionally, individuals in this role are expected to provide excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness in work areas, and manage stock by unloading new products and reloading salvage products efficiently. The successful candidate will need to participate in and complete various training programs provided by the company, such as food sanitation, customer service, and safety training. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately, and physical stamina to meet the demands of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. The role also demands proficiency in basic math skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to perform basic math operations
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- completion of company's training programs including food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge
- IST or AST certification
- physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in moderate to loud noise environments
- willingness to participate in training and teamwork
