Job Requirements
- Complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations with American currency and weight measurements
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out oral and written instructions
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Effective communication skills in English
- Willingness to work part-time hours and collaborate with the team
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform other physical tasks required by the role
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months of related experience or training
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple English instructions and correspondence
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Certification in food safety and sanitation (IST or AST certified)
- Ability to present information effectively in small group settings
Job Duties
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Starbucks standards
- Provide customer service and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure hygiene and safety
- Unload incoming stock and properly store items
- Reload salvage products according to company protocols
- Participate in required training for food safety and product knowledge
- Collaborate with team members to maximize customer satisfaction and sales
