Job Requirements

  • Associates must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • ability to read and write in English
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
  • ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel
  • reach with hands and arms
  • talk or hear
  • taste or smell
  • occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching
  • willingness to complete company training
  • ability to work in moderate to extreme temperature environments
  • ability to work with moving mechanical parts and potentially toxic or caustic chemicals
  • ability to cope with moderate to loud noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
  • ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
  • ability to perform operations using American money and weight measurement
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • willingness to participate and complete required training including food sanitation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge

  • Bake products according to standards
  • process, package, and stock fresh foods products according to fresh foods standards
  • clean work areas
  • provide customer service
  • unload stock
  • reload salvage
