Pyramid Global Hospitality believes that its employees are its most valuable asset, and this philosophy reflects in every aspect of their operations—from their approach to employee development to the benefits they offer and their dedication to building lasting relationships within the workforce. Their extensive range of employment benefits includes comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, on-site wellness programs, local discounts, and exclusive employee rates on hotel stays. Additionally, Pyramid is dedicated to providing ongoing training and career development opportunities, making it an ideal workplace for individuals at any stage of their hospitality careers, whether they are just starting or seasoned professionals. This inclusive and collaborative environment encourages employees to grow and succeed alongside the company.
One of the crown jewels within Pyramid Global Hospitality's portfolio is The Wigwam, a historic Four Diamond property located in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Established in 1929, The Wigwam is a landmark offering 331 guest rooms distributed across a sprawling 440-acre area. It embodies the authentic Arizona experience, making it both a community treasure and a destination for travelers seeking an unparalleled cultural and historical immersion. The Wigwam is currently looking for passionate, driven, and creative culinary professionals to join their team. The position available is that of a Baker, who will play a vital role in producing various baked goods to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences.
The Baker role at The Wigwam is perfect for individuals with a passion for the culinary arts, particularly baking, who wish to develop their talents further in a professional kitchen setting. This position involves assisting the Chef with the production and fabrication of baked products used in various outlets such as the kitchen, cafeteria, banquet services, dining room, and fine dining experiences. Bakers are expected to maintain high production standards while supporting a positive and collaborative kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen and a strong motivation to advance their baking skills through ongoing learning and teamwork with culinary leadership. Responsibilities include following recipes and product instructions carefully to prepare bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, and other baked items, managing ovens and baking equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the kitchen.
Beyond technical skills, the Baker at The Wigwam must be committed to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols, including compliance with HACCP standards and active participation in safety meetings and training sessions. This commitment ensures that every baked product meets the high-quality standards Pyramid Global Hospitality is known for and that the kitchen environment is safe and efficient. The company also supports career advancement through training programs with both classroom and virtual elements. Working at The Wigwam means becoming part of a historic team where employees are empowered to exceed expectations and contribute to memorable guest experiences.
Furthermore, Pyramid Global Hospitality welcomes diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds, including minorities, females, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Their dedication to an inclusive work culture means every employee has the opportunity to thrive in a respectful and supportive environment. For those seeking to join a company that values its people, invests in their futures, and creates exceptional guest experiences, Pyramid Global Hospitality and The Wigwam offer a compelling career opportunity.
