Job Description

The Audio Coordinator will be entrusted with numerous responsibilities, including setting up microphones, conducting sound checks, and handling live sound production during worship services. Additionally, they will operate stage lighting systems to enhance the visual ambiance and engage the congregation effectively. Collaboration is a key component of this position, requiring close work with the production team and ministry leaders to plan and execute worship services and special church events efficiently.

The role also encompasses training and supporting volunteers, helping foster a culture of teamwork and skill development within the production ministry. Candidates for this role are expected to uphold the mission, vision, and doctrinal statements of Indian Rocks Church, and must be active members, exemplified through regular attendance in worship, participation in small groups, and faithful stewardship including tithing. The Audio Coordinator’s work will directly contribute to a seamless and spiritually meaningful worship environment, impacting both the congregation and the church’s outreach efforts.

This ministry position is dynamic and may evolve as the church grows or adapts to new technological advancements in media and production.
