Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a personal and reliable vehicle with auto insurance including liability and collision coverage
- Must have an acceptable DMV record (no accidents in past three years, no more than two tickets in past three years, no DUIs in past seven years)
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs repeatedly
- Must be available to work weekends
- Ability to read and comprehend memos, reports, and instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be prepared for consistent physical exertion including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or public interaction preferred
- Basic knowledge of sustainability practices
- Ability to handle physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license with acceptable DMV record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Travel to additional sites in the area as needed
- Sort clothing and shoes separately
- Organize collections in carts inside the Drop Spot
- Keep site clear of debris and clothing left outside
- Distribute flyers to promote Drop Spots
- Assist patrons with patience and enthusiasm
- Clean or paint over graffiti
- Monitor surveillance cameras at Drop Spots
