Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- if under 18, parental and school permission is required
- able to read, write, and speak English
- able to perform basic arithmetic calculations

- excellent communication skills
- previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Ensure an extraordinary dining experience for residents
- help set up tables maintaining high standards for cleanliness and presentation
- set up and prepare food items occasionally
- keep the food and beverage area organized and fully stocked
- be familiar with the menu for each meal to assure all items are available and answer residents' questions
- assist residents with any meal service assistance they might request or require
- greet guests informing them of specials and changes, answer questions and make suggestions
- process resident orders to ensure items are prepared properly and served promptly
- promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Parkwood, Transforming Age and our Affiliates
