Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience required with less than 2 years of experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at troubleshooting and handling difficult situations calmly
  • Passion for culinary and delighting guests with food
  • Proven ability to create, read, and understand recipes
  • Understand the purpose of the knife and when to use it
  • Exhibit positive, friendly, and helpful attitude to guests and fellow cast members
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service skills and appropriate service recovery
  • Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for working in the kitchen
  • Proven knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food safety certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work with technology (plate costing buffet system, CAFÉ system, KDS, Workbrain)
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food Safety Certification or equivalent
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead and mentor culinary team members to ensure consistent quality and teamwork
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve kitchen challenges calmly and effectively
  • Communicate clearly and coordinate with front-of-house staff to optimize guest experience
  • Operate and utilize kitchen technology systems such as plate costing buffet system, CAFÉ system, KDS, and Workbrain
