Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience in hospitality or customer service industry
- Valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass an MVR background check
- Ability to pass airport security clearance with no arrests in the last 10 years
- Physical ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, wind, snow, and rain
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently during a shift
- Availability to work full-time at Detroit Metropolitan Airport
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in hospitality or customer service
- Excellent guest service and hospitality skills
- Strong problem-solving and listening abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass airport security clearance
- Strong communication and time management skills
Job Duties
- Greet arriving guests and provide courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic service for valet parking
- Check and notify guests of pre-existing damage to vehicles
- Record guest names, vehicle details, and secure keys
- Accommodate guests requiring special assistance
- Inspect vehicles for dents, missing parts, or distinguishing features
- Assign designated parking locations and provide claim checks
- Report security issues and manage traffic congestion
- Respond to emergencies and assist guests with luggage
- Maintain the valet area neat and tidy
- Provide accurate parking service quotations and handle payments
- Utilize a golf cart to assist with luggage transportation
