Propark Mobility is currently seeking Valet Attendants in Columbia, South Carolina, offering both full-time and part-time employment opportunities. The pay rate ranges from $6.00 to $9.00 per hour, plus cash tips, making this role financially rewarding in addition to being engaging. The position requires individuals who are energetic, customer-oriented, and capable of handling physical tasks efficiently. Valet attendants primarily assist customers by safely parking and retrieving their vehicles while ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor. This job requires active involvement throughout the shift, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items up to 50 pounds. Valet attendants must maintain the company’s uniform standards and exemplify excellent customer service by greeting guests cheerfully and thanking them sincerely upon departure. Job Requirements
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have a valid driver’s license and have been driving for at least 2 years
- Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items up to 50lbs if needed
- Great communicator in both written and spoken language with a friendly professional approach
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can help resolve customer issues positively
- Ability to drive manual (standard, stick-shift) transmission is desirable
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years
- Energetic and physically capable of standing, running, and carrying items up to 50lbs
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken language
- Friendly and professional approach to customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve customer issues positively
- Familiarity with valet parking services preferred
- At least 1 year of customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Always cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner
- Explain the parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles
- Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines
- Maintain company uniform appearance and professionalism
- Stand, walk, and occasionally carry items weighing up to 50lbs
- Complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks as requested by local management
