Live Nation is currently seeking a Parking Lot Attendant to join the US Concerts team. This is a vital role responsible for managing vehicle parking and ticketing in the parking lot area, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for guests. Responsibilities include parking vehicles, issuing tickets, handling cash, and collecting payments for parking fees. The position demands an individual who is not only attentive to detail but also highly customer-service oriented, capable of communicating clearly and professionally.
The role requires constant walking, occasional sitting, and presenting a well-groomed appearance, reflecting the high standards of service Live Nation upholds. Preferred candidates bring at least one year of guest service experience and demonstrate excellent communication skills. The Parking Lot Attendant also plays an active part in maintaining the safety and order of the parking area, preventing vehicle damage and theft, and participates in the venue's sustainability initiatives, including waste sorting and recycling efforts. Closing duties include working with other team members to collect recyclables, store event equipment properly, and ensure the venue is neatly maintained after shows. Job Duties
- Take numbered tags from guests, locate vehicles, and deliver vehicles or provide guests with instructions for locating vehicles
- keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
- direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
- patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts
- greet guests and open their car doors
- calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests
- issue ticket stubs or place numbered tags on windshields and give guests matching tags for locating parked vehicles
- lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas
- inspect vehicles to detect any damage
- show care by participating in the venue's sustainability program including sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating fans about efforts
- partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue including collecting recyclables and properly storing event equipment
- perform other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor
