The role of the Parking Manager at Civic Centre Parkade is a critical leadership position responsible for managing day-to-day event parking operations and transportation activities. Positioned in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this full-time role carries an annual salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, reflecting the significance and responsibility associated with the job. The Parking Manager oversees the entire parking operation, ensuring optimal service delivery through the development and implementation of effective procedures focused on operational excellence and continual improvement. This role includes the hiring, training, and management of an in-house team of part-time parking supervisors while guaranteeing that all parking systems, including the PARCS technology, remain fully operational. The manager must perform minor maintenance tasks and train staff on remote management systems, ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the position requires collaboration with the Director to innovate parking products, create new revenue streams, and reduce operational costs. The manager is also instrumental in assisting with sustainability objectives through audits and data analysis. Strategic responsibilities include planning for traffic and budgeting, monthly performance reporting, and analyzing guest surveys to enhance service levels. Working closely with the Business Intelligence team, the manager examines transportation data to support evidence-based decision-making. The role also involves managing rideshare coordination, partnerships, and transportation technology collaborations with GPS wayfinding providers like Google, Waze, and Apple Maps. Daily oversight of shuttle driver documentation and operational details is also required to maintain service standards. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in parking or transportation management
  • Knowledge of parking revenue management systems
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid driver license
  • Comfortable working with the public

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in parking/transportation management
  • Event management preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of parking revenue management systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be comfortable working with the public and have strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Valid driver license required

Job Duties

  • Ensure operational excellence and high-quality service by developing and implementing efficient procedures with emphasis on continual improvement
  • Hire, develop, train, and support a team of in-house part-time parking supervisors
  • Ensure all parking systems are operational
  • Perform minor maintenance of all PARCS systems such as ticket jams in pay stations and repair barrier gates
  • Train designated staff on remote management of PARCS systems
  • Inspect all parking systems/devices to ensure they are operational
  • Assist Director with creating new parking products, additional revenue streams, and reducing costs of the parking and transportation operation
  • Assist Director with working towards sustainability goals, including revenue, PARCS system, and operational audits
  • Assist with strategic planning, traffic management planning, and budgeting
  • Assist in monthly reporting efforts to the client
  • Review/analyze guest surveys and other performance measures to maximize operational performance
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence team to analyze mode of transport data, parking data, etc
  • Manage rideshare operation, coordination, and relationships with partners
  • Work with transportation technology GPS wayfinding partners such as Google, Waze, Apple Maps
  • Review shuttle driver daily documentation such as sign-in sheets, trip logs, pre and post checklists
