Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- six months of related experience such as customer service, working at a university, parking, transportation, or light maintenance
- valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days with no more than three moving violations in the last 36 months and no DWI or DUI citations
- must be able to speak and understand basic English
- good interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- courteous communication
- ability to follow instructions
- actively looks for ways to help people

Job Duties
- Keeps parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
- directs motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
- patrols parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property theft
- calculates parking charges when equipment is not working and collects fees from customers
- lifts, positions, and removes barricades to open or close parking areas
- provides direction and assistance to visitors as needed
- may, at times, be asked to lead other attendants, students, and/or event staff
- performs all other duties as assigned
