Legends Global currently has an immediate opening for a Parking Attendant position at the Jacksonville Sports Complex and Prime Osborn Convention Center. This role is hourly, part-time, and classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The Parking Attendant will be a frontline ambassador, responsible for providing clear parking instructions and assisting guests as they arrive at these busy venues. This role plays an important part in ensuring a smooth and efficient parking process, contributing to the overall positive experience for visitors.
In this position, the Parking Attendant will guide patrons to available parking spaces using hand signals and lights, help guests locate their vehicles, and ensure safety in the parking areas, including escorting customers to their cars when necessary. Responsibilities also include managing event set-up materials such as traffic cones and barricades, maintaining a clean parking lot, and offering directions to nearby highways or destinations. The role demands excellent oral communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing environments and handle competing demands, and the capability to read and follow simple written and oral instructions. Although the position does not require extensive prior experience, candidates with at least six months of customer service experience are preferred.

Job Duties
- Provide parking instruction/guidance/assistance to guests as they arrive
- Provide guests with directions and other venue information
- Place traffic cones and other event set-up materials under direction of supervisor
- Manipulate vehicles to take advantage of all spaces
- Clean up debris from parking lot
- Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots
- Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots
- Help customers locate their vehicles
- Escort customers to their vehicles if needed
- Help patrons exit parking garage safely
- Give directions to the nearest highways or destination
- Perform other duties as assigned
