The Parking Attendant role at ABM is an excellent entry-level position for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, including veterans and military personnel transitioning to civilian careers. This role primarily involves managing cash and electronic transactions with parking customers, ensuring a seamless and professional customer service experience. The hourly wage for this role is $15.00, which reflects a fixed rate providing competitive compensation for this position. As a Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly, professional manner. Your duties include issuing and collecting visitor parking tickets, handling payments accurately, completing lost ticket forms when necessary, and reconciling cash and receipts at the end of shifts. Additionally, maintaining a clean and safe working environment and promptly addressing any customer concerns or operational issues are critical components of this job. Job Duties

  • Approach and greet all customers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns
  • Relay customer concerns and/or information to shift lead or Operations Manager as necessary
  • Be quick and responsive to provide excellent customer service
  • Follow all company procedures and comply with all safety regulations
  • Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets
  • Match visitor ticket to parking rate schedule
  • collect proper payment from visitors and distribute correct change
  • Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located
  • Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges
  • accurately account for all funds within cashier drawer
  • Perform revenue drops following specific location procedures
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area
  • Answer telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when required
  • Immediately report accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates
