Job Description

Moonlight Stage Productions is a distinguished program operated under the City of Vista's Recreation and Community Services Department within the Cultural Arts Division. This organization is committed to enriching the local community through the performing arts, hosting a variety of live performances throughout the summer season. Established as a pivotal cultural institution, Moonlight Stage Productions offers a unique outdoor theatre experience at the Moonlight Amphitheatre, acclaimed for its vibrant atmosphere and top-notch productions that attract residents and visitors alike. As a part of the City of Vista, it upholds values of community engagement, cultural enrichment, and excellence in entertainment, providing seasonal employment opportunities that support the successful execution of its events.

The role of the Parking Attendant is vital to the smooth operation of Moonlight events. Reporting directly to the VisTix Ticket Office Manager and the House Manager, the Parking Attendant is entrusted with overseeing the parking logistics of the Moonlight Main Parking Lot and Overflow lot, ensuring a seamless and safe arrival experience for all patrons. This includes monitoring the backstage parking area, which is reserved exclusively for cast, crew, staff, sponsors, donors, and special guests. The attendant is responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining order within these parking zones to facilitate efficient vehicle movement and uphold access security.

The position demands attentiveness in directing traffic both before and after performances, including managing the upper handicapped parking area during post-show departures and coordinating shuttle bus traffic. Additionally, the role involves enforcing House Rules and Policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
