Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the community life of Seattle through programs and services that promote recreation, learning, and wellness. In partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, ARC provides access to licensed childcare, a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities designed to serve people of all ages and backgrounds. Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be willing to work outside year-round
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Job Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working outdoors year-round

Job Duties

Act as an information guide, answering questions about city destinations and events
Assist with program and event management including set-up and take-down
Ensure event areas are clean and free of debris prior to scheduled event and before departing the park
De-escalate and redirect when issues arise with park patrons
