Job Requirements
- minimum of 3 years ALS experience for flight paramedics
- minimum of 3 years clinical experience for EMT-P/LP
- current Texas certification or licensure as paramedic
- current CPR certification
- valid Texas driver's license and auto liability insurance
- ACLS certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- PALS certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- NRP certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- Stable certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- TNCC audit within 6 months of employment and every 4 years thereafter
- advanced certification FP-C CCEMTP C-NPT or TP-C within 2 years
- emergency vehicle operators course during orientation and every 3 years thereafter
Job Qualifications

- current Texas certification or licensure as paramedic

Job Duties
- provide care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients via ground ambulance helicopter and fixed wing aircraft
- maintain readiness of equipment
- ensure availability of supplies
- complete related paperwork
- expand knowledge of pediatric and neonatal patients and apply that knowledge in the transport environment
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- communicate effectively with patients families and medical staff
