Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Illinois Paramedic License
- CPR certification
- Valid Illinois driver's license
- Minimum one year of paramedic experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
- Age 21 or older
Job Qualifications
- Illinois Paramedic License
- Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as a paramedic
- CPR certified
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Illinois driver's license
- Willingness to complete ACLS and PALS training
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check
Job Duties
- Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the paramedic level
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patient conditions
- Administer medications and advanced life support interventions
- Collaborate with emergency response teams and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient care reports and documentation
- Participate in ongoing training and skills development
- Ensure compliance with local and state emergency medical regulations
