Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Illinois Paramedic License
  • CPR certification
  • Valid Illinois driver's license
  • Minimum one year of paramedic experience
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
  • Age 21 or older

Job Qualifications

  • Illinois Paramedic License
  • Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a paramedic
  • CPR certified
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Illinois driver's license
  • Willingness to complete ACLS and PALS training
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check

Job Duties

  • Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the paramedic level
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patient conditions
  • Administer medications and advanced life support interventions
  • Collaborate with emergency response teams and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient care reports and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and skills development
  • Ensure compliance with local and state emergency medical regulations
