Job Requirements

  • Valid paramedic licensure
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a PRN basis
  • Strong computer skills including EMR familiarity
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing attitude
  • Willingness to go above and beyond in patient care
  • Passion for helping people
  • Availability for occasional shifts as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Current paramedic licensure
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong computer and technology skills including experience with EMR
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Passionate about providing quality patient care
  • Experience with occupational health preferred
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment

Job Duties

  • Participate in daily operations at Medcor's on-site clinic
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor's clients and employees
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor Care Protocols
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships
  • Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • Document care using electronic medical records and related tools
  • Conduct physical assessment testing
  • Manage workers compensation cases
  • Maintain OSHA record-keeping and medical charting
