Job Requirements
- advanced cardiac life support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- basic cardiac life support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS pediatric advanced life support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- technical or vocational training
- EMT-Paramedic required
- one year experience as an EMT or related emergency service

Job Duties
- provide direct patient care as assigned by registered nurse
- report observations and patient needs to appropriate personnel
- perform psychomotor skills according to training and orientation
- maintain and organize storage areas
- document patient data accurately and timely
- respond effectively to emergency procedures
- assist in the overall functioning of the unit under supervision
