Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 3 years as a paramedic
- Current Texas Paramedic-P, EMT-P, or NREMP-P license
- BLS within 30 days of hire
- ACLS & PALS within 90 days of hire
- Maintain certifications and clinical skills
- Ability to perform advanced life support and patient transport duties safely and professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum 3 years as a paramedic
- Preferred: 5 years of 911 or similar agency with advanced protocol
- Current Texas Paramedic-P, EMT-P, or NREMP-P license
- BLS within 30 days of hire, ACLS & PALS within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: CCP-P or FP-C
- EMS instructor
Job Duties
- Advanced patient assessment and monitoring
- Advanced clinical interventions including but not limited to mechanical ventilation, medication infusions and advanced airway management within the scope of practice
- Safe and efficient inter/intra-facility transport
- Clear, consistent and accurate documentation and communication
- Participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
- Maintain vehicle readiness through completing daily checks, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies
- Responsible for completion and submission of electronic patient care record for each dispatched transport within the specified time frame
